Inspiration behind Scent of the Sea Handmade Soap:-

I always enjoyed a sunny afternoon plumbing the shallow depths of rockpools searching for creatures when I was a child and the smell of the seaside immediately brings those joyful moments back to me nearly half a century later. Wet algae and seaweed plus the ozone freshness pervading the atmosphere and the seaspray all coalesce to create an unmistakeable aroma

A glycerin enriched seaside aroma is what I wanted to create for this deep blue glistening and clear moisturising body soap and I created the aroma by blending a range of oils to mimic the ozone freshness and rockpool fragrances of a windswept seascape.

I now have customers who use their as yet unused bars to scent their linen and bedding storage before using the bar in the bathroom. Its apparently very effective even if not the original intention
