AROMATIC: Flax Seed smells a bit like freshly melted butter but like all cold pressed untreated vegetable oils has a slight fatty note.

CONSISTENCY: Typical and Characteristic of cold pressed vegebale oils.
ABSORPTION: Flax Seed oil is readily absorbed.
SHELF LIFE: FlaxSeed oil is quick to go rancid; users can expect a shelf life of between 3 and 6 Months with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). Refrigeration after opening is recommended. It can become a solid at cool temperatures.
