Shea Oil is obtained by cold pressing of the fruits (seeds) of the karite tree followed by a full straining process. During the pressing of the butter, (the fat extracted which is known as Shea Butter) a liquid fraction appears as Shea Oil. Shea is best known for its moisturising qualities and helping with dermatological conditions.
