Geranium Bourbon (Pelargonium graveolens) is generally considered to be the best of all the geraniums, coming from Reunion Island in the South Indian Seas, once a French protectorate and owned by the French crown (hence the soubriquet Bourbon) is used to create this intense floral fragrance that makes some people think of Turkish Delight. Its heady, strong and long lasting quite distinctive.
