Tagetes is an annual growing herb that it small with spindly stems and yellow flower clusters.
USES:
Tagetes has been credited with having properties including as an anti-infectious, anti-microbial, antibiotic, anti-spasmodic, anti-parasitic, antiseptic, insecticide and sedative agent. It has also had a long history with the perfumery industry.
BLENDS WELL WITH
Tagetes generally blends well with all essential oils, but specifically with Tangerine, Clary sage, Lavender, Jasmine, Lemon, and Myrrh.
HISTORY:
After the Boer war in South Africa, Australian troops brought plants to their native land where it grew profusely.
